the first demo
And then it’s done. Finally. After almost a years hard work with getting pissed enough to sound good in a recording, the Adam West Fanclub Experience’s first demo is finished. About god damn time too. And I really like the cover. Nooo, not like that. It looks good and somehow it has the illusion of a three-layered depth. The title up front, then the photo and last in the background there is the name of the band. Neat.
With the ability to mix things properly in the computer for the first time, a few minutes were spent on post-production to give it a “soundscape”. It’s hard to explain. Needless to say, we had beer, whisky and far too many ideas.
I miss my guitar but I also want a new one, a cutaway that isn’t nylon stringed.
The face Ola made when he saw the cover was fun too. Shock, surprise and… some third thing. He was the coverboy—something he didn’t knew about until we gave him one of the two copies. He laughed, so I guess he took it the right way.
Now, I need to burn the second demo and find a suitable cover for the mini-booklet.
