My brother found this DVD-pack with 50 science fiction movies from the Drive-In era. It contains things such as Robot Monster, Santa Clausl Conquers the Martians. We’re talking the cream of the crap here. Movies that make Plan 9 From Outer Space seem like a high class movie—because let’s face it, Plan 9 is only the worst movie of all time for people with no perspective or interest in movie history.

50 on 12 disc, this is the bad thing. It means about 4 movies a disc and I’m a bit worried over the compression. So I guess there’s no 5.1 Dolby sound track or commentaries. So despite the fact that it’s really cheap, I’m thinking it’s better to buy Mystery Science Theatre 3000 than this pack. Sadly.

   Sad about the compression. Yeah, sure. Those movies were propobly recorded in top quality and with THX-sound. Sure. Yeah. Trust me – the compression won’t be noticable…
