Things that probably aren't too good for you
A few weeks ago I did the Walkerwatch. I lasted four episodes even with a break during the weekend, but it was painfull. Especially towards the end the quality seemed to drop at an exponential rate. I don’t really think it did that though, it was just that my mind was fed up with stupidity and crappiness.
A month or so earlier I had the pleasure—I mean it—of watching La Linea (“Linus på Linjen” in Swedish) for over an hour. We saw about 26 episodes all in all and after ten or so we started to analyse it and notice patterns. Really bizarre patterns as well as political content—I’m sure they weren’t intended as such. After that, the brain doesn’t work in the same way any more. It was fun. I wonder what would happen if one saw all seasons in a proper marathon.
Of course, this is nothing compared to the other marathon idea that’s really painfull. But if we do that, we’ll need liquor, booze and firewater—and lots of it. Otherwise there’s no way in hell we’ll even last to the fourth movie.
