Bruce, Bruce, Bruce. You fucker. If you have to write books that I have to buy—which I do because they’re really damned good—please get a decent person to do the typography. I know there must be some person at St Martin’s Press that realize that Tahoma or Arial are not the proper way to go, I know because I’ve seen some beautiful books being published by them before. Find him, please. Hell, I’m sure both me and Tommy will give you a buck or two for the trouble of hiring him on a freelance basis if it turns out that the publisher fired him. To use those two typefaces in print is in some states a federal crime.
I wrote of the problem with If Chins Could Kill as a fluke, but now that it exists in the new Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way(amazon) as well, I can’t ignore it. It’s a disgrace and they have done you a great disservice. Kick them in the nuts if you have to. Go on, we give you permission.
