It's a robot Dick!
Johan sent this to the Swedish fanac-mailinglist but I got it through the Tim Powers ditto (it’s at Yahoo so I won’t link to it) as well: they’re building a Philip K. Dick android. The really freaky and still oh so cool thing is the AI.
The robot will portray Dick in both form and intellect through an artificial-intelligence-driven personality.

IIS will create the artificial intelligence personality of the robot by mathematically deriving it from Dick’s life and works in a manner very similar to that described by Dick himself in his book We Can Build You (published in 1964).
I doubt they’ll succeed to actually do this properly because that would mean that they have to copy the man’s way of thinking perfectly, I don’t think that’s possible even if they might make the bast damn AI of all time. But still, a talking android based on Philip K. Dick. How cool isn’t that?
