I’m sure you’ve heard of Thomas Pynchon. If not, you’re probably an illiterate scumbag, but I don’t judge. Pynchon wrote a book called Gravity’s Rainbow and it’s rather thick. I haven’t read that one myself but some fellow named Zak Smith decided on night to illustrate it. No one asked for them, he made them anyway. Ink on paper, photos, acrylics. 760 of them. One illustration represents one page I guess. Some of them are in sequential form, such as page 9. Others, like page 224, are more abstract.
