carbonated ink : one man's struggle against boredom

Walkerwatch #2

[]    walkerwatch -05 : 15. June 2005, 18:01

Today’s episode of Walker Texas Ranger is #46 Blue Movies.

As a judge gets killed—after two episodes, and I already see a pattern—by a goon with a machine gun as said judge runs across an empty field to get his rifle in the house, Chucky wrestle the killer down from the chopper and makes a deal to get to The Real Bad Guy—I don’t remember his name but he’s a bit like Gene Hackman’s character in the Quick and the Dead only not so obvious, so let’s just call him Gene. Gene is a big corporate bigwig with lots of money and businesses—like transportations, stores, bars, and even porn because that’s what an evil businessman does. The killer speaks a bit like Ronnie Dobbs from Mr Show, so I’ll call him Ronnie.

Because Gene is an important figure in the city, he has to kill Ronnie in the most spectacular way. Like with a bazooka. Subtlety is for lesser beings after all—this is a man whose lawyer has those silly suede-cowboy-fringed jackets. Ronnie dies in the blast that blows out the entire apartment. I’d hate to clean up that mess. The charges are dropped and this should be no surprise for anyone. Bigwigs can’t be charged for illegal things like that, that’s against the social etiquette. Chucky watches some porn without the sound—silly, silly Chucky. If he does that, how can he hear the hilarious dialogue?

He follows some leads and then Chucky does what he does best. No, not acting like a puppet. Kicking people who stand still in the head. I swear, this is like all those ninja movies with Michael Dudikoff from the 80s except with less people in pyjamas. It even feels like this was made back then and not in the middle of the grungy 90s. All in all, this episode was really fucking boring.

From today’s heartbreaking episode I learnt that Darth isn’t the only one who screams “Nooooooooooooooo!”
