The guy with the third eye
I finished Bill Hicks: Agent of Evolution yesterday, the biography written by Kevin Booth and Michael Bertin. Better than I suspected, mainly due to all the different persons who they had spoken to and who gave their point of view. Not all of them seems to describe the same reality—something that really fits the subject. Too bad it’s not possible to ask Mr Hicks himself, I suspect there’s a few things that he wouldn’t agree happened that way at all.
However, it was very interesting the first couple of chapters before all the drugs came into the picture. Early routines and i nspirations and all that. And Stress. One can never forget Stress.
All in all, interesting and a good companion piece to his records and Love All the People. But if you can only afford one book, get LAtP. That’s the Hicks people remember, all his own words.
