Finding Nemo?
Tales From Fish Camp by Danielle Henderson (AiT/PlanetLar)
I’ve only just begun reading it, but it’s fun. As when Danielle describes—or tries to describe—the horrors of her room in the fish camp, with germs, bad paint jobs the aspect of never ever removing one’s boots for the entire stay. Okay, it might not be fun fun, but it is in an awkward sort of way, just as it’s also rather horrible. Colour me ambivalent if you must. But this book is really funny. It has already made me promise myself never ever to work in a fish camp. Sleep only three hours a day doesn’t seem fun, and neither does all that fish.
Tommy, for fuck sake, this is what the publishing box should do! 128 pages in a nice and pocketable format. Of course, the thing about actually finding things to publish is a whole different matter and not as important. Yet.
