Comics from the snake
In the case of Viper Comics and the way they publish Daisy Kutter, I wonder if they’re not onto something. Their prestige format for only $1 more than a normal comic is worth every ha’penny. It’s thicker, no ads and there’s a short from someone else in the back. Of course, Daisy Kutter would have been worth every ha’penny on it’s own but that’s a bit beside the point. (Kazu Kibuishi draws rain in a wonderful and moody way.)
This time it’s a science fiction about field agent Lucy Nova. She has goggles on the top of her head, must be popular right now. In the story, there’s these facts abouteach creature she meets. Kind of like in a Godzilla Vs Whatever-movie or one of those anime-things that they showed on saturday mornings on Super Channel. Except that these are far more detailed.
